Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Little Rock, AR)

We are growing our team at Cedar Haven Insurance Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around policy renewals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
