Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Las Vegas, NV)

Greenridge Juniper Foods is a Las Vegas food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around production batches against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to sanitation schedules, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
