Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Las Vegas, NV)

Amberfield Clear Transit Planning is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Track costs around fare systems against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to survey data, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
