Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Las Vegas, NV)

Cedar Timber Medical is a Las Vegas company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 920 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
