Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Las Vegas, NV)

Clearpath Vale Staffing is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around candidate screening against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to retention, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with retention. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
