Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Las Vegas, NV)

Silverline Junction Community Partners is a nonprofit in Las Vegas supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 718 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around benefits enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
