Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Knoxville, TN)

Amberfield Drift Banking Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to deposit accounts, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around account openings against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with deposit accounts. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
