Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Silverline Pine Markets Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around online orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
