Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Knoxville, TN)

Bright Loom Property Management is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for unit turnovers, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 300 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to unit turnovers, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with unit turnovers. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
