Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Rivermark Willow Community Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to volunteer shifts, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around grant reporting against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with volunteer shifts.
