Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Jacksonville, FL)

Redstone Oak Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Jacksonville. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 958 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to guest bookings, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with guest bookings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
