Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Jacksonville, FL)

Bluepeak Cross Inspection Services is an inspection company in Jacksonville with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around certifications against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
