Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Clear Health and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around electronic records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
