Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Jackson, MS)

Rivermark Stone Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Jackson area. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service installations, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
