Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Indianapolis, IN)

Bright Juniper Farms Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Track costs around packing house output against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
