Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Indianapolis, IN)

Bluepeak Wilder Financial serves customers across Indianapolis with accounts, loans and payments, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around vendor spend against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
