Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Honolulu, HI)

Bright Stone Care Services supports families and individuals in Honolulu with personal care and coordination. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around licensing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with family communication.
