Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Honolulu, HI)

Foxglove Nest Financial Partners provides savings, lending and payment services from Honolulu. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
