Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Glen Health Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
