Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Hartford, CT)

Foxglove Lantern Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Hartford, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
