Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wilder Medical and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around clinical evaluations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
