Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Rowan Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Hartford. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
