Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fresno, CA)

Westbrook Loom Auto Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for warranty claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Track costs around customer estimates against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to warranty claims, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
