Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fresno, CA)

Bluepeak Basin Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Fresno focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 286 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing accounts, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
