Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fresno, CA)

Northwind Union Legal Group provides legal services in Fresno across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to court deadlines, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around trust accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
