Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fort Worth, TX)

Northwind Vista Manufacturing Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
