Accountant - revenue reconciliation (El Paso, TX)

Bluepeak Amber Medical Group is a El Paso company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
