Accountant - revenue reconciliation (El Paso, TX)

Foxglove Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around El Paso, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer estimates, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around parts orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
