Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Denver, CO)

Fernwood Loom Pharma develops and makes medicines in Denver, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around clinical studies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to batch records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
