Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Denver, CO)

Cedar Bridge Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Denver, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to grower contracts, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
