Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Dallas, TX)

Amberfield Timber Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Dallas region, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Track costs around customer estimates against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to warranty claims, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
