Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Dallas, TX)

Rivermark Cobalt Manufacturing is a Dallas manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 991 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
