Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Dallas, TX)

Cedar Wilder Learning Group is an education provider in Dallas serving students and families. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Families are partners. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to student accounts, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around attendance records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
