Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Dallas, TX)

Rivermark Ember Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Dallas, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to machine downtime, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
