Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Quill Legal Group is a law firm in Columbus serving businesses and individuals, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
