Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Columbus, OH)

Highbridge Technologies runs a venue and education programmes in Columbus. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 887 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around school partnerships against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
