Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Columbus, OH)

Bluepeak Corner Medical is a Columbus company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
