Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Colorado Springs, CO)

Stonegate Field Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Colorado Springs, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to loan applications, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
