Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Silverline Sable Manufacturing and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 402 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to work orders, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around tooling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
