Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Colorado Springs, CO)

Bluepeak Partners coordinates shipments and warehousing around Colorado Springs. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track costs around customer tracking against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to proof of delivery, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
