Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Northwind Bridge Banking Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to account openings, and clear open items. • Track costs around loan files against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
