Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Colorado Springs, CO)

Northwind Ember Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Colorado Springs, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around meal programmes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to enrolment, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
