Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Colorado Springs, CO)

Ironwood River Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the Colorado Springs region. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to retention, and clear open items. • Track costs around client orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with retention.
