Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Nova Cedar Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Cleveland. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around grower contracts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
