Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Clearpath Vista Housing is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 337 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around repair requests against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with waiting lists.
