Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cincinnati, OH)

Harborlight Meadow Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to payment disputes, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
