Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Charlotte, NC)

Lumen Keystone Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Charlotte, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around exhibitions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
