Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ember Pharma and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
