Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Hollow Facilities Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Track costs around contractor visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
