Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Charleston, SC)

Silverline Bright Auto Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to vehicle inspections, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with vehicle inspections.
